Shirdi Sai Baba temple, Ambedkar Nagar, Belgaum - inauguration

The inauguration as well as the consecration of the idol of Sai Baba is to be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the newly built temple of Sri Bhagwan Shirdi Sai Baba at Kangralkar Colony in Ambedkar Nagar on Bauxite Road in the city.  The prasadam will be distributed on Saturday from noon.

Social activist S.M. Kaloti, who retired as Joint Director of Department of Cooperatives, and retired Executive Engineer R.B. Dhamannavar took the initiative to renovate the temple structure.  By forming the  ‘Shree Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir Development Society'  they were able to rebuild the temple in  a year on 2,000 sq. ft. area, at a cost of about Indian Rupees 45 lakhs (4.5 million Indian Rupees).
